Institutional efforts for agricultural development in Nepal the agricultural base is believed to have been established at the government level in 1959. BC Within 3 years, the Department of Agriculture was established. BC Within 5 years, the Department of Agriculture was restructured into five departments (Department of Agriculture, Fisheries, Horticulture, Animal Health, and Agricultural Education and Research). BC in 1949, the agriculture department was re-established with the integration of the five departments. In the 19 years, the Department of Food and Agriculture Market Services was established to address the needs and needs of the agricultural market. Animal Services Department was established in 5 years. Within 5 years, a separate horticulture department was formed from the Department of Agriculture.
 
According to the policy of keeping the agricultural bodies "under one roof" in the year 19, the same agriculture development department was established by the Department of Animal Husbandry, Crop and Fisheries Department, Food and Agriculture Market Service Department, Animal Health and Animal Development Department and Central Food Research Laboratory. Within three years, three different departments, including the Agriculture Department, Animal Services Department, and the Central Food Research Laboratory, were formed after the reorganization of the Agricultural Development Department. On the 8th, the technical departments under the Department of Agriculture were changed to 3 program directors.
