An internationally operating company that specializes in the production and distribution of medical instruments and devices and is recognized as a global leader in human medical instruments is seeking for a dynamic professional who can take ownership of assigned responsibilities and contribute effectively to organizational goals.
Role Title: Business Development Manager (Based in Nepal)
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Sales Planning: Develop and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with govt and private accounts, including clinics, and healthcare providers. Serve as the main point of contact, ensuring customer needs are met and issues are resolved promptly. Identify opportunities for expanding business sales with existing accounts and developing new partnerships.
- Market Monitoring: Continuously monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback in Nepal, identifying avenues for enhancement and innovation.
- Market Insights: Conduct thorough market analysis to identify emerging opportunities, customer requirements, and specific Nepal-focused industry trends.
- Strong Customer Relations: Forge strong partnerships with customers and KOL to expand the existing market.
- Channel Partner Relations: Build and maintain relationships with channel partners to increase the top line in the market.
- Deal Negotiation: Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms of agreements that align with both company objectives and customer requirements.
- Reporting and Analysis: Regularly present comprehensive reports, forecasts, and performance analyses specific to the Nepalese market to senior management. Monitor account performance through regular reporting, analyzing sales data, and forecasting future trends. Identify potential challenges and develop proactive solutions to mitigate risks
Qualifications
- Any Graduate, preferably with a science background (B.Sc., B Pharma, Biotech, Life Sciences, Bio-Med Engineers, etc.)
Work Experience
- 8+ years of experience in sales. Prior experience in medical device companies is preferred.
- Clientele should be big corporate & govt hospitals.
- Experience dealing with key decision makers of corporate hospitals & govt. hospitals.
- Experience in channel management and distribution will be an advantage
