Basic Information:

  • Position: Finance Executive

  • Location: Kathmandu

  • Education: Bachelors/ Masters with specialization in Finance from a reputed institution.

  • Minimum two years of experience in the relevant field.


Job Description:
• Preparing financial documents, such as statements, business activity, and reports
• Update financial spreadsheets with daily transactions
• Track and reconcile bank statements
• Create cost analysis reports (fixed and variable costs)
• Process tax payments
• Track bank deposits and payments
• Analyzing an organization’s finances to find strategies for cost reduction
• Managing records and receipts and processing invoices
• Support monthly payroll and keep organized records
• Record accounts payable and accounts receivable
• Process invoices and follow up with clients, suppliers and partners as needed
• Provide administrative support during budget preparation
• Assist in the review of facility operations and performance, and be able to research and answer questions
• Conduct all duties in accordance with internally and externally acceptable accounting practices
• Perform all other duties as assigned by management
• Reconciling daily, monthly, and yearly transactions
• Supporting the Finance Manager and executives with projects and tasks when required


Requirement/ Skills:
• Good knowledge of accounting and bookkeeping procedures
• Advanced MS Excel skills (creating spreadsheets and using financial functions)
• Familiarity with accounting software
• Organizational and time-management skills
• Requires a high degree of strategic planning skills and board management focus and vision to foresee all aspects of financial operations
• Ability to work under pressure
• Attention to detail, with an ability to spot a numerical error
