Major Roles and Responsibilities:
- Create content for global audiences generally based on Hollywood industry.
- Showcase a standard level of content aptitude. Create content that does not possess severe contextual and grammatical issues.
- Passionately follow the industry and generate content/topic ideas and leads.
- Research and create original content in the related industry if demanded by the Content Strategy.
- Timely contribute to our content development cycle.
- Write different types of content ranging from news, opinions or gossip, advice & tips, feature articles, hybrid articles to blogs (optional).
- Assist your team to create, implement, and update the content publishing calendar of the niche-based website.
- Ensure proper usage of content development format/s and topic development strategy.
- Maintain professional communication and favorable working relationships with all of the internal and external stakeholders.
- Maintain, update, and rewrite the content as per the content strategy made by the Editorial Standards Committee.
- Follow digital, content, and other standards adopted by the Editorial Standards Committee and Editorial Supervision Committee.
- Under the supervision of the Managing Editor, collaborate with other teams including management, IT, and co-brand teams to ensure the cohesive branding of the website.
- Grow your writing, communication, research, copyediting, proofreading, and SEO skills following the processes/materials and standards created by the Editorial Standard committee and Editorial Supervision committee.
- Help the team meet quality expectations, follow standard management & operating procedures, and achieve organizational goals & missions.
Job Skills and Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Mass Communication or Journalism, or any discipline related to our content categories and/or proven 1-2 years of experience in writing or content development[preferred]
- Strong writing, grammar, research, and analytical skills; knowledge in the specific writing field; and the ability to implement social media & web strategies.
- Ability to work both independently and in a team/s. The individual should be willing to adapt to the changing nature of the media industry.
- Ability to create and edit different types of contents ranging from news, opinions or gossip, advice & tips, feature articles, hybrid articles to blogs (optional).
