a. Education: +2 passed, Bachelor’s degree in relevant field (running)
b. Vocational training or baking coursework would be advantageous.
c. Previous experience in a bakery environment preferred.
d. Proficiency in weighing, pricing, packaging, and processing baked goods.
e. Ability to manage ingredient inventories and to track expiry dates.
f. A keen eye for detail and the ability to create visually appealing displays of baked goods.
g. Knowledge of food and health industry regulations.
h. Advanced ability to multitask and follow instructions given by bakers.
a. Managing the inventory of baking ingredients and requesting stock purchases.
b. Keeping track of the expiration dates of ingredients and planning their use accordingly.
c. Keeping an eye on the appearance of the baked goods and making sure they're ready when they're supposed to be.
d. Notifying the bakery chef of low-baked products stock in a timely manner.
e. Keeping the baked products counter clean and neat, as well as completing other tasks as needed.
f. After business hours, cleaning and preparing the cold kitchen for the next day.
g. Customer complaints are handled and relayed to the baker.
h. Providing assistance to the bakery chef in every manner feasible.
