Position: Market Research Assistant
Job Description

Conduct primary and secondary market research to collect customer, dealer, competitor, and industry insights.

Perform field visits to gather information on market trends, competitor products, pricing, promotional activities, and customer preferences.

Collect, verify, and compile market intelligence from various sources to support business planning and decision-making.

Monitor competitors’ products, pricing, service offerings, campaigns, and market activities, and prepare comparative analysis reports.

Analyze research findings and prepare accurate reports, presentations, and actionable insights for management.

Maintain research databases, dashboards, and documentation to ensure timely and reliable market information.

Support product development, pricing strategies, marketing initiatives, and business expansion by providing relevant market intelligence.

Coordinate with internal departments and external stakeholders to collect research data and ensure the accuracy of findings.

Ensure confidentiality, quality, and accuracy of all research data and documentation.
Job Specifications

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Management, Economics, Statistics, or a related field.

1–2 years of experience in market research, marketing, business analysis, sales support, or a related field.

Good understanding of market research methodologies, competitor analysis, customer behavior, and market intelligence.

Strong analytical, data collection, report writing, and presentation skills.

Proficiency in MS Excel, Google Sheets, MS PowerPoint, and other data analysis/reporting tools.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to conduct field research and interact with customers, dealers, and business partners.

Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to maintain accurate research records and databases.

Ability to work independently, manage multiple assignments, and meet deadlines.
-
Must have a two-wheeler and a valid driving license for field visits and market research activities.

Willingness to travel as required for market surveys and research assignments.
