Center for Dalit Women Nepal (CDWN) is a national non-governmental organization registered in District Administration Office affiliated with Social Welfare Council in 2016 AD. Few Dalit Women, engaged in social, political and parliamentarian process, identified the need for the establishment of this organization realizing a huge gap of NGOs substantially working for the issues of Dalit women and marginalized communities. It was established with the motive of political empowerment of Dalit women and marginalized communities enhancing the capacity for the development of leadership in order to increase their access to decision making at all levels. Similarly, it works for promoting gender responsive, socially inclusive and accountable governance at local, provincial and federal levels. In addition, CDWN has also been actively moving forward to eliminate all forms of discrimination and violence based on caste and gender.
