Position: Community Engagement Accountability (CEA) Officer for IFRC
Qualification: Bachelor's degree in Communication, Development Studies, community development or related degree and/or demonstrable experience
Experience: Minimum of 3 years experience in community engagement and accountability for a humanitarian or development organization
Responsibilities: The main responsibility of the CEA Officer is to ensure that COVID-19 preparedness and response operation is applying appropriate program quality and accountability interventions at every level, community, district/provincial, and headquarters. Specifically make sure that robust accountability strategies are fully functioning in all operational areas ensuring accountability towards program participants including community members/citizens, government bodies, partners, and back donors.
The CEA Officer will ensure alignment with global best practices in risk communication community engagement and accountability as well as donor requirements, community needs, and partner Priorities.
