News Anchor Job Responsibilities:

Researching local, state, national, and international stories

Attending daily news briefings with the news director, reporters, and other anchors

Collaborating with the news team to select stories for broadcasting

Organizing selected stories in the most appropriate order

Rehearsing and revising broadcast scripts

Need to handle and Include late-breaking news in broadcasts when appropriate.

Engaging in news commentary throughout broadcasts

Introducing on-scene reporters and correspondents

Interviewing live guests and others who are included in broadcasts

Adhering to the journalism industry’s ethical code
-
Communicating with news desk editor and write reports as well

Be punctual in time and flexible of time.

Prepare News Script and deliver them on-air

Need To Follow news Producer and Mcr engineer instruction while on air.

He/she need to be in the news Studio before 10 min of News On Air.

Keep abreast of news developments by studying papers, attending events, etc.

Stay in contact with industry professionals

Age should be 18-32

At least +2 Education from College.

He/ She Needs to be good-looking and very good sense of News.

1+ years of experience or trained fresher as a television news anchor.

Familiarity with local, state, national, and international current events

Excellent verbal communication in Nepali and English and interpersonal skills

Charismatic but professional demeanor while on camera

Ability to improvise during live broadcasts when necessary

Ability to work in a hectic environment and under deadline pressures

Commitment to working on a team

Experience in other news-related roles
