Welcome to Kathmandu, Nepal! During your time here, you will get to know the people and ideas that drive the freedom business movement and will explore the context, challenges and opportunities for freedom business on the ground. This site visit (and full day freedom business tour) will expose participants to freedom businesses of various sizes and models in different industries.
Dates: April 22 - 25, 2020; arriving on Wednesday, April 22nd. Visit concludes on Friday evening, April 24th. Departures from April 25th. All participants must make their own travel arrangements to and from Kathmandu.
Location: The group will stay at Five14 Bed and Breakfast, a freedom business in the Lalitpur area. This is within walking distance to Patan’s Durbar Square. There are restaurants nearby, a café on location, and a mini-mart close to the guesthouse.

Group size: 30 spaces available. Priority will be given to business people interested in partnering with freedom businesses.
Price: $400 USD covers all meals (starting with dinner on Wednesday, April 22nd), three nights’ dormitory accommodation, ground transportation to and from the airport, full-day freedom business tour, half-day justice tour, and access to all FBA meetings and training sessions. A limited number of private rooms are available at an additional charge. Flight to/from Kathmandu is NOT included. Please note: Nepal requires a visa for most visitors. You are responsible for arranging your own visa.

Friday, April 24th - MULTIPLE OPTIONS
We'll spend the morning touring Kathmandu to learn about the historical, cultural, political and spiritual foundations of exploitation in Nepal on Five14's half-day Justice Tour.
In the afternoon, you can use your business skills to assist a local freedom business, purchase a tour option (available directly from Five14 Adventures), or venture out on your own.

Saturday, April 25th - DEPARTURE DAY
Participant must book their own departure flights.

**Special opportunity: Five14 Adventures is offering our group two special packages at additional cost for the days before the freedom business site visit, 18 - 21 April (Saturday - Tuesday). Those who would like to arrive early may choose from a three day homestay trek package ($500 USD) or three days in Pokhara ($600 USD). The village trek into the Himalayas will allow participants to see and stay in an area where freedom business has created alternatives to trafficking. There are two additional options for those departing late on Saturday, 25 April: a mountain flight over the Himalayas (additional cost of $245 USD) or a cable car ride into the mountains (with views from India to Bhutan on a clear day!). Cost for the cable car trip is approximately $75 USD. Both require at least 1/2 day and an evening departure from Kathmandu.
