The Janakpurdham birthplace of Janakpurdham, the birthplace of King Janak's mother and Jagatjanani Janaki's mother, has been described and interpreted as a sacred religious shrine with religious significance in Ramayana, Vedas, Puranas, Upanishads and Mithila Mahatma. For this reason, Janakpurdham, the capital of ancient Mithila city, has become a holy pilgrimage place for Hindus and devotees from abroad. The wedding will be held at Panchami, Ramnavami, Janaki Navami, Jula Jatra Parikrama, sixth festival and Purnima fair which will take place every month. Janakpur is located in the northeastern region of the southern border of Nepal. It is also the headquarters of Dhanusha district. Based on the geographical information obtained from the Ramayana, the authenticity of this city is proved, which is also confirmed in the Buddhist-Pali and Jain texts. In the ancient and middle ages, Janakpur was known as a pilgrimage site. The Jain treatise is found in the alphabetical book of Mithilatikalpalka and Mahakavi Vidyapati (4th century).
