Primary Responsibilities:
Develop the EGRP Il communications plan in coordination with program leadership and
technical staf
Oversee implementation of the communications plan through annual, quarterly and monthly
Work:planning and progress reviews
Develop communications products such as project briefs, success stories, case studies,
blogs, social media posts, etc. n coordination with the technical team
Identity appropriate ways to publicize and disseminate program related information and
‘materials through digital media, traditional media, and web-based communication
Track and report on media coverage ofthe program on racttonal and social media platforms
‘Contribute to quarterly, annual and final progress reporting
Collect and compile materials for sharing and submitting to RTI and USAID as required
(such as for the Development Experience Clearinghouse (DEC))
Work closely with other team members to gather and synthesize program related technical
information and data
Assure Branding Strategy and Marking (BS&M) Plan is folowed on all program documents,
reports, and public information materials
‘Assure compliance to the program's media guidelines and USAID and Government of
"Nepal requirements for informed consent on communications products
Coach and build capacity of other team members to produce communications materials.
(case studies, high-resolution photos) in compliance with the BS&M Plan and informed
Consent requirements
Develop templates for frequently-used communications products, such as PowerPoints
‘and training certificates, in compliance
Advise techrical teams on effective use of communications products such as documentaries,
videos, photos, and case studies during key programmatic events, such as local government
capacity development workshops or periodic learning and sharing events
Promote knowledge sharing through the organization's processes, systems and departments!
nits by helping develop and strengthen links between them to facilitate exchange of
information
Assist in special events planning and execution
Work with Chief of Party and RTI Home Office team to support and increase program
visibility, both within RTI and externally
Required Qualifications and Skills:
Master's degree in Communication/Social Science or related field with 3 years of experience or Bachelor's Degree in Communicator’Social Science or related field with 6 yrs of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
Atleast 3 years of relevant work experience in a program of siilar nature,
Worthing experience with USAID, DFIO or other donor agency regulations highly preferred.
Knowledge of USAID branding and marking policies a pls,
Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Otic.
Strong organizational and reporting skis
Abily to build effective relationships with all cients, peers, and stakeholders,
Must be professionally proficient and fluent in writen and spoken English and Nepal.
Photography and photo/video editing skils isan advantage,
