Job Description
Trail-based Tourism Development Project (TTDP) is a bilateral initiative between the Government of Nepal and the Government of Switzerland with main goal of “People in Koshi Province increase their income and contribute to conservation of culture with innovative and sustainable tourism offers”. On Behalf of Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC), Helvetas Nepal provides technical assistance to the project. Helvetas Nepal invites applications from competent and committed Nepali Citizens for the following positions:
Procurement and Logistics Officer - 1
Job Purpose: The position will assist the Administrative and Human Resource Manager for an effective procurement and logistics management of the project as per the organizational policy and manuals.
Required Education, Experience and Social Competence:
Bachelor’s degree in business administration, management or a relevant subject. S/he should have at least 3 years of experience in procurement and logistics management. Experience in an I/NGO in a similar position will be value added. Commitment towards gender equality, social inclusion, and poverty reduction is a must.
Duration: Initially three years with a possibility of extension.
